Fort Dodge Senior High Students Promote Social Justice Council

It’s summer time but that isn’t slowing down a group of Fort Dodge Senior High students from a passion project that offers a chance for all voices to be included, heard and celebrated.

The Social Justice Council was started last year with a mission to celebrate people’s differences and to provide a place to discuss topics ranging from mental health to diverse cultures.

FD Senior High class of 2025 students, Jazmyn Dillard and Ella Champagne are two of the group’s members.

Both Champagne and Dillard have goals to attend the University of Northern Iowa and become teachers.  

They are both hopeful that the group will continue to grow once the school year begins and there will be many chances for people to get involved.
