Friday Night Fundraiser For Fort Dodge YWCA Hopes to Reach Needs of Families

A good mattress, dependable child care and an improved gathering room are all on a wish list for the YWCA of Fort Dodge.

That’s a list that a group of women with the Fort Dodge Study Club hope to fulfill tonight during a big event.

The annual Study Club fundraiser will feature music from the Ronley King Blues Band, a silent auction, hors d’ oeuvres and a live art display with all of the money raised going to provide the items needed at the YWCA.

The Study Club event for the YWCA begins Friday at 7 until 10pm at the Phillips Auditorium.
