Girls Wrestling Added to Fort Dodge Senior High Athletic Schedule for 2022-2023 School Year

(Alpha Media – Brooke Bickford) Girls wrestling will be added to the 2022-2023 Fort Dodge Senior High School athletic schedule.
This, following the announcement in January by the Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union that it had been voted on to be the organization’s 11th sanctioned sport.
According to Josh Porter, Fort Dodge Senior High Athletic Director, the decision was confirmed tonight by the Fort Dodge Community School Board.
Porter said there has been an increase in interest for younger girls when it comes to wrestling.
