Several Arrested in Fort Dodge Investigation
According to a press release from the Fort Dodge Police five people under the age of 17 have been arrested along with 37 year old Amanda Hinton of Fort Dodge and 18 year old Jesup Ward of Mason City.
Weeks ago, a search warrant was executed at 1613 2nd Ave South and investigators state they found a firearm, as well as illegal narcotics, drug paraphernalia, and numerous other items.
As a result of the investigation those charged have been taken into custody.
Hinton faces several charges including child endangerment, possession of a controlled substance and conspiracy to commit a forcible felony.
Ward was arrested on a warrant for 2nd degree burglary.
A 16‐year‐old male of Fort Dodge has been charged with assault on a peace officer and two counts of possession of a firearm as a felon.
Two 15 year old males and one 14 year old male have been charged with multiple counts of a minor armed with a dangerous weapon.
And another juvenile male, this one 17 is charged with 3rd degree theft and several other offenses.
The situation remains under investigation.
