The Votes Have Been Counted and Here are Some of Tuesday Night’s Election Winners

Lets run down the results from last night’s election. For Fort Dodge City Council contested races:

FD Ward 1 Jenn Crimmins has won the two year seat over Scott Davis, 

FD Ward 2 Incumbent Cameron Nelson will see two more years in that seat after receiving a slight edge over Shannon Crouse and in the 

FD At Large position Megan Secor was the winner over Eugene Newsome. She has been elected for a four year term.

-Dan Altman will remain in his seat

Top vote getters were Brian Pederson with 1,845, Emily Dencklau with 1,822, Diane Pratt with 1,774 and Keenan Schuur with 1,748.

The Webster County Jail bond referendum needed to pass by 60%, although there were more yes votes for the new jail it did not make that threshold.
