Victim of 4th of July Homicide Identified As Fort Dodge 15 Year Old

A Fort Dodge Senior High School student has been identified as the victim of a deadly shooting in Fort Dodge on the 4th of July.

FD Police have identified 15-year-old Jameel Redding Pettrigrew of Fort Dodge as the young person who was shot Tuesday night near the intersection of 15th Street and 4th Avenue South in Fort Dodge.

An arrest warrant has been issued for 18-year-old Jamarrion James Davis also known as J-J from Ankeny. 

Davis is wanted on a charge of murder in the first degree as a result of the Tuesday night shooting. 

Webster County Crime Stoppers is offering a reward for anyone has information on the whereabouts of Davis. The incident remains under investigation.
