Wrestling Tournament Honors St. Edmond’s Vinnie Harvey

He was a son, a coach and a friend and this Friday the school that he was such a big part of will join together for a tournament in his name.

The Vinnie Harvey Youth Wrestling Tournament at St. Edmond was named for the former coach who passed away right when his career at the school was getting started.

Head Wrestling Coach at the school Eugene Carlson was Vinnie’s coach.

Carlson says the tournament is a great opportunity for kids from pre-K through 6th grade who are just getting started in wrestling to come out and have a fun time:

The tournament will begin Friday at 5pm at St. Edmond and the money raised will benefit the Saint Edmond Booster Club.
