Fort Dodge Public Works Announces Water Main Flushing

The City Of Fort Dodge Public Works Dept. has announced that starting October 2nd and running through October 25th they will be flushing water mains. The work will be done between the hours of 7 AM and 3:30 PM in zones 3 and 4. Per the Public Works Dept. Zone 3 is the area located within the boundaries from 21st Avenue North to 31st Avenue North and east and west of North 15th St including Kennedy Brown and Rolling Meadows. Zone 4 is the area located within the boundaries north of North 22nd St and 25th Avenue North including Woodlands Subdivision. During the operation you may experience water discoloration. Any disruptions should be short lived and occur only while the water mains are being flushed. If you experience rusty water call the Water Department at 515-573-7156.
