Tuesday Night Shooting In Fort Dodge

A woman was shot Tuesday night on the south side of Fort Dodge. The Fort Dodge police dept was called out just before 8 PM after multiple gunshots were reported near the 2200 block of 14th Ave South. Theere was a vehicle at the scene that looked to have been hit by gunfire. The woman was shot in the chest area and was transported via ambulance to Unity Point Health- Trinity Regional Medical Center and she was listed in stable condition. There have been no arrests made as of the time of this report and the identity of the woman has not been released. The shooting remains under investigation, we plan to have more on this story as new details emerge.
